MRTA has been very busy!

  • Awarding three (3) scholarships to local high school seniors in 2021-2022. 

  • During the 2022-2023 year over 968 books were given to all pre-kindergarten students in our service area during our annual Christmas Book Project. 

  • A new Service project of sending Valentine Cards to the residents of Stilwell Retirement Residence in Waco, Texas began. 

    • 236 cards were sent to the residentence

  • A donation of $348 was divided equally among the Kate Bell Residents Assistance Library Fund and the Bingo Benefactor at Stilwell Retirement Residence. 

  • A 1st Place Certificate was presented to our chapter for the most Volunteer Hours our of the 23 chapters in District 4 TRTA chapters at the 2023 Spring Conference.
